Insider: Vivo is already working on the Vivo X80 smartphone, it will get a MediaTek Dimensity 2000 chip and a 50 MP camera with 5-axis stabilization
Despite the fact that Vivo only recently introduced the Vivo X70 line of smartphones, the company is already working on the next series of devices.
What is known
This was revealed by Chinese insider Digital Chat Station on his page in Weibo. He also shared some details about the base model of the lineup.
According to the informant, the Vivo X80 will be powered by MediaTek's top-end 4nm Dimensity 2000 processor. The novelty should be equipped with FHD+ display with 120Hz picture refresh rate.
As for the main camera, it will get several modules and the main sensor of 50 MP with support for 5-axis stabilization. Exactly the same sensor now stands in the Vivo X70 Pro+. It will be complemented by a 12-megapixel portrait camera with 2x optical zoom.
When to expect
Naturally, wait for Vivo X80 in the near future is not worth it. If everything goes according to plan, the smartphone will be unveiled in the first half of 2022.
