One of the cheapest Xiaomi smartphones got global MIUI 12.5 Enhanced
Xiaomi has released a global version of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced software for one of the cheapest Redmi smartphones in the international market.
What is known
We are talking about the model Redmi 9T, which was announced earlier this year. The smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 662 processor and is an international version of the Redmi Note 9 4G, which debuted in China about a year ago.
Redmi 9T went on sale with MIUI 12 pre-installed firmware based on Android 10 operating system. It is now available with an optimized global MIUI 12.5 Enhanced shell numbered v12.5.2.0 RJQMIXM. The software is based on Android 11. The size of the update is around 830MB.
The update optimizes the system, reduces the load on the mobile processor, slightly improves battery life and fixes bugs. The update also brings an operating system security patch for September 2021.
