As part of the launch of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro , Google said nothing about unlimited Google Photos storage. As it turns out, owners of the new flagships will only get 15GB of free space.

What's known

As of June 1, 2021, Google has shut down the shop called "unlimited storage," leaving even its own smartphones with only 15GB. Next-gen flagships are no exception.

According to Google itself, it takes the average user three years to completely fill up the free 15GB of space with pictures. If you need more space, you will have to buy paid plans. In the U.S., the cost of Google One ranges from $2 per month for 100 GB of free space to $150 for 30 TB.
