Insider: Vivo Watch 2 smartwatch will get eSIM, 501mAh battery and round OLED display
It's been reported online more than once that Vivo is working on a new smartwatch. We've speculated that it will be the successor to the Vivo Watch and now an insider has confirmed it.
What is known
According to Indian insider Mukul Sharma, the watch will be launched with the name Vivo Watch 2. The novelty will boast of supporting eSIM technology. That is, the device will be able to be used without a bundle with smartphones. In addition, the insider attributes the watch OLED panel. As in the current generation, the screen in the device will be round. The gadget will be powered by a 501 mAh battery.
Unfortunately, no other details about Vivo Watch 2 yet. Their announcement date is also unknown. As a reminder, the original model was released in September 2020. The watch has AMOLED screen, 11 sport modes, NFC, GPS, water protection, battery life up to 18 days, and two versions: 42mm and 46mm.
