Snapdragon 898 and Dimensity 2000 processors specifications revealed

Next year, the vast majority of flagship smartphones will be equipped with 4nm Snapdragon 898 and Dimensity 2000 processors. Qualcomm and MediaTek chip specifications have already appeared on the web.

What's known

The next top-of-the-line Qualcomm chipset is due to be unveiled at the Snapdragon Tech Summit, and the premiere may take place as early as winter at Xiaomi 12. The single-chip system will get three clusters of cores led by 3GHz Cortex-X2.

Three performance cores will toil at 2.5 GHz, while a quartet of energy-efficient cores will be able to clock up to 1.79 GHz. Adreno 730 graphics accelerator will power Snapdragon 898.

Mobile platform company MediaTek will get an identical structure, but the frequency of productive cores will increase from 2.5 GHz to 2.85 GHz. Graphics subsystem in Dimensity 2000 will be represented by Mali-G710 MC10 chip.
