Ryzen Threadripper PRO processors will go into NVIDIA's new offering for gamers, the GeForce NOW RTX 3080. With AMD's chips, the cloud gaming platform will "deliver a new level of experience for PC gaming enthusiasts".

NVIDIA GeForce SuperPODs will be based on the massive number of cores and high clock speeds of the AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO to support more than 39 petaflops of graphics processing power. Each processor features 128 lanes of PCIe Gen 4 and the industry's highest memory bandwidth, AMD emphasized.

"GeForce NOW SuperPOD and GeForce NOW RTX 3080 are the culmination of more than a decade of advancements in cloud gaming that, for the first time, will enable low-latency gaming at 1440p and 120 frames per second," said Phil Eisler, general manager of GeForce NOW.

GeForce NOW "Founders" and "Priority Members" can pre-order the GeForce NOW RTX 3080 now.
