The new, not yet announced Intel processor scored the highest in the popular Geekbench test. The chip outperforms all competitors, including Apple's latest creation, the M1 Max.

The Core i9-12900HK model carries 14 cores (6 large + 8 small) and 20 threads and has a rated frequency of 2.9GHz. The Intel processor received the highest score of any known mobile chip.

Chip scores 1851 points in single-core mode and 13256 points in multi-core mode. In comparison, the Apple M1 Max has slightly lower scores: 1758 and 12490 points respectively.

Apple M1 Max and AMD Ryzen 9 5980HX achieved the closest performance results, but lag behind Intel's newcomer. When the Core i9-12900HK will be officially unveiled and even more so, when it will hit actual devices is unknown.
