Following iOS 15.1, Apple developers have also realeased a stable version of macOS Monterey for Mac.

What's new

The update weighs just over 12GB and contains a considerable list of changes. For example, macOS Monterey has new FaceTime features and Focus mode for notifications. In addition, the system gets an updated Safari browser, as well as support for Spatial Audio for AirPods Pro and iCloud+, which includes Private Relay mode. Recall, it allows you to hide Safari users' data online (analogous to VPN).

The new version of the system also features the ability to use a computer or laptop as a wireless speaker for the iPhone or iPad via AirPlay. The "Shortcuts" application is also finally available to users.

Apple has also added the ability to recognize text in images, an updated Maps app, a recording indicator in Control Center for apps that use a microphone, and more.
