OS Android 12 broke old Google Pixel smartphones

Google has released the final version of the operating system Android 12, but it is not without bugs. This was reported by owners of old Pixel series smartphones.

A Google Pixel 4a 5G user writes that his smartphone began to lose battery power quickly, and applications stopped working properly after installing the operating system Android 12. The owner of Google Pixel 5 has noticed that the problems remain even after a factory reset.

Failures on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 4 XL are also known. In particular, after installing Android 12, the fourth-generation model refuses to unlock the smartphone through facial recognition.

Google says the problems may be due to incompatibility with third-party apps. How widespread they are, it is not yet known.
