Redmi Watch 2: cheap Apple Watch-style smartwatch with AMOLED display, heart rate monitor and up to 12-day battery life for $60

 Today, as promised, Xiaomi unveiled at presentation in China the new Redmi Watch 2 smartwatch, which comes to replace last year's Redmi Watch.

What can they do?

Externally, the new model has inherited the design of its predecessor: a square case in the style of Apple Watch, one control button on the side and silicone straps. The gadget is equipped with 1.6-inch AMOLED display with resolution of 320-360 pixels and powered by Apollo 3.5 processor.

Users will have access to about 100 watch faces and 117 sport modes. As for health monitoring, the watch can measure heart rate and blood oxygen levels and also monitors the duration and quality of sleep.

Claims to support GPS, NFC and water resistance (5ATM). One battery charge will last up to 12 days of battery life.

How much?

So far Redmi Watch 2 goes on sale only in China, nothing is known about going international market. In Celestia the watch is priced at $60, but first buyers will be able to get reduced price - for $55.
