John Prosser revealed when Samsung will launch the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra
It has been repeatedly reported online that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S22 line of smartphones in early 2022. This information was confirmed by insider Jon Prosser. In addition, he also revealed a more precise release date.
When to expect
According to Prosser, the Korean manufacturer will open pre-orders for the smartphones in the second week of February. Consequently, the presentation of the new products will take place a little earlier - in late January or early February.
Recall that there will be three devices in the new lineup: Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The regular and medium models will look similar to the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+. They are credited with AMOLED displays, reduced batteries, and triple main cameras.
As for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, it will get a Galaxy Note-style design, dimensions of 163.2×77.9×8.9 mm, a Super AMOLED display 6.8 inches with curved edges and adaptive refresh rate, as well as support for the branded S Pen stylus and a 5000 mAh battery. All three new products will be powered by Snapdragon 898 or Exynos 2200 processor (market dependent).
