Just yesterday, October 28, Xiaomi unveiled three new smartphones, and now it has become known that the company is preparing for the release of another device.
What the beast
It's about a model codenamed Xiaomi Munch (a reference to Norwegian painter Edvard Munch?) The smartphone was spotted in the code of the latest MIUI build with model number L11R .
According to the leak, the novelty will get an IPS display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz picture update rate. Under the hood of the device should be a Qualcomm SM8250 processor. If we believe the insider, it could be an as yet unannounced Snapdragon 870+ chip. It will be an improved version of the usual Snapdragon 870, which, in turn, is a copy of Snapdragon 865+.
Also Xiaomi Munch will get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a triple main camera. Characteristics of the modules are not yet available, only known that it will be a wide-angle sensor, super-wide and a macro module.
With what name the smartphone will be released on the market - is unknown. It is rumored that in China it may be Redmi 50S, and in the global market - Xiaomi 12T.
