Apple announced financial results for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2021, which corresponds to the third calendar quarter of this year.

For the quarter, Apple reported revenue of $83.4 billion and net quarterly earnings of $20.6 billion, or $1.24 per share, compared to revenue of $64.7 billion and net quarterly earnings of $12.7 billion, or $0.73 per share, in the same quarter last year.

Apple's quarterly revenue figure was a record (once again) and Macs and Services set records, but Apple's results only roughly matched analysts' expectations and were almost certainly tempered by component shortages that delayed delivery dates for many products.

For full fiscal year Apple broke its own records, selling $365.8 billion of products and generating net income of $94.7 billion, compared to $274.5 billion in sales and $57.4 billion in net income for fiscal 2020.

In other words, Apple was selling $1 billion worth of products and services per day. Not per month or per week, but per day. The company's collapse, of course, is imminent.
