Leaked: in 2022, Apple will release a 27-inch iMac Pro with M1 Pro/Max chips, Mini-LED display and a price tag above $2000
Insider @Dylandkt shared information on Twitter about the new iMac that Apple is preparing for next year.
What to expect?
According to he says Apple is using the prefix Pro in the name to emphasize the difference between the new model and the 24-inch iMac released earlier this year From it can be inferred that this will be a more professional machine, a head above its predecessor.
And judging by the specs leaked by @Dylandkt, this is indeed the case. iMac Pro is credited with Mini-LED 27" display with ProMotion technology and M1 Pro and M1 Max processors used in the new MacBook Pro.
In addition, Apple has tested Face ID for the device, but the feature is not yet finally confirmed.
Also, the new iMac Pro should get from 16/512GB storage, an HDMI port, a SD card slot and multiple USB-C/Thunderbolt ports like the MacBook Pro.
Insider says iMac Pro will replace current 27-inch iMac Intel-based and will cost at least $2000.
