Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman has published some details about Apple's first AR/VR helmet in his weekly Power On newsletter.

What

According to Gurman, the Cupertinians are planning to release the device in 2022. Incidentally, this was also previously stated by analyst TF International Securities Ming-Chi Kuo .

The gadget is ascribed a Sony Micro-OLED screen, a lot of sensors, as well as support for proprietary services Apple TV + and Apple Arcade. To operate the new product should run a proprietary chip. Perhaps it will be one of the M1 series processors.

The exact price of the helmet Gurman has not yet disclosed, but said that the gadget will be expensive. Presumably we are talking about the figure of 2000-3000 USD.
