The spinoff series "The Book of Boba Fett" premieres December 29 on Disney+, and the new trailer gives us our first look at Boba's new criminal empire. The story shows how the galaxy's most feared bounty hunter (no offense, Mando) transforms into its most powerful crime lord.

The series is set after the events of the second season of "The Mandalorian", where Bob sits on the throne of Jabby the Hutt's criminal empire. According to him, Jabba relied on fear to rule, but Bob intends to lead with respect. However, not all of Jabby's former captains seem too keen on the change in leadership, which puts Bob and his partner Fenech Shanda in the crosshairs of some of the most dangerous criminals and thugs in the galaxy.

Temeura Morrison and Min-Na Wen will once again play the roles of Boba Fett and Fenech Shanda, respectively.

The Book... was produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Colin Wilson, and Kathleen Kennedy. Directed by Robert Rodriguez, who has already worked on several episodes of "Mandalorean."
