Google may release its first foldable Pixel Fold along with Android 12L
Last month Google unveiled its new flagships Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, but the announcement of the manufacturer's first foldable smartphone we unfortunately never waited for. PhoneArena publication believes that the Pixel Fold could be released very soon, because what else could be better for the launch than the release of the new operating system Android 12L.
When?
Android 12L - is a recently unveiled version of the Android operating system that is designed specifically for large-screen devices, including foldable gadgets.
Google promises to release Android 12L in. early 2022, just in time for the next wave of tablets and foldable devices. PhoneArena reporters believe this is a great excuse and to launch a foldable smartphone, so it's not out of the question that the Pixel Fold will be released along with Android 12L.
According to the official Android 12L timeline, the first public beta will be released sometime in December, and the stable version will appear on big-screen devices in March 2022. In between, two more beta versions of will be released - in January and February. It's probably in those months that the Pixel Fold will also debut. Most likely, if Google has the same logic, the Pixel Fold will be shown in March, when Android 12L is ready for final launch. Especially since there are virtually no major competitor events this month - only OnePlus usually uses March for flagship launches.
In any case, so far, these are just guesses, and whether they will be correct - time will tell.
