Apple has added to its list of vintage and obsolete products.

Now and

 iPad 4

So, as of November 1, the iPad 4th generation tablet is considered an obsolete product. This is stated in an internal memo obtained by MacRumors. The publication says the tablet is not yet on the list on the official website, but it should be soon.

This means that the device, deemed obsolete, is no longer serviceable at the company's authorized service centers.

Recall, the 4th generation iPad debuted in 2012, so it's no surprise that it has been ranked obsolete. It along with the iPhone 5 was among the first to adopt the Lightning connector, and also got the Apple A6X processor. The last version of iOS available for the iPad 4 was iOS 10.

Incidentally, the memo says that as of November 1, Apple also put the Mac mini on the list of obsolete products. Incidentally, it was introduced along with the iPad 4th generation in 2012.
