Introduced Moto G51 - the world's first Snapdragon 480+ smartphone

Motorola has unveiled the Moto G51 smartphone. It is the world's first model based on the recently announced Snapdragon 480+ processor.

What the beast

The new single-chip system is made by 8-nm technology, operates at a peak frequency of 2.2 GHz and has a graphics chip Adreno 619. The Snapdragon X51 5G modem card is responsible for fifth-generation network support.

The Moto G51 has 8GB of RAM and the storage capacity was 128GB. The power subsystem is represented by a 5000mAh battery. Fast charging is not reported.

The smartphone got 6.8" HD+ IPS display. The panel boasts of 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz sensor sampling rate. The primary camera resolution is 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP, while a 13 MP front-facing camera is used for selfies.

The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the logo on the back. Also note the My UI 2.0 firmware on Android 11, headphone jack, USB-C and the option to add 3GB of virtual RAM.

Price

The Moto G51 is priced at $235. The smartphone has already gone on sale in China. There is no information about international market launch yet.
