Confirmed: Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) budget tablet will run on Unisoc T618 processor

Unannounced Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) tablet has been "spotted" in Geekbench performance test database.

What is known

The leak confirms the main characteristics of the device. According to the documents, the device has model numbers SM-X200 (Wi-Fi version) and SM-X205 (LTE version). The novelty is powered by the Unisoc T618 octa-core processor at 2.0 GHz. The chip comes paired with 3GB of RAM. Apart from that, the device will get Android 11 operating system out of the box.

No other specs of the tablet are available in Geekbench, but thanks to previous leaks, they are already known.

Recall that Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) will come with 10.5-inch TFT screen and WUXGA (1920×1200p) resolution. The device is credited with up to 4GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB of ROM. The tablet will also feature an 8 MP primary camera, 5 MP front camera, USB-C port, 3.5mm jack, speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 7040 mAh battery. The battery will support 15W or 18W charging.

The novelty is to be released in three colors: Gold, Silver and Gray. No information about when the tablet will be released.
