Snapdragon 898 defeats Snapdragon 888 in Geekbench 5
Geekbench 5 software has tested a smartphone based on the 4-nanometer Snapdragon 898 single-chip system.

In comparison, Samsung Galaxy S21's score on the 5nm Snapdragon 888 mobile processor is around 900 points in single-core test and around 3000 points in multi-core mode. Thus, the performance gains are 33.3% and 23.3% respectively.

Judging by the leak, the chip will get a Cortex-X2 core with a peak frequency of 3 GHz, three "medium" Cortex-A710 cores with a frequency of up to 2.5 GHz and four "small" Cortex-A510 cores with a frequency of 1.79 GHz.
