Xiaomi MiJia Automatic Foaming Hand Wash Pro: soap dispenser with USB-C port, IPX5 protection and battery life up to 6 months for $17

Xiaomi announced in China under the brand name MiJia a new dispenser for liquid soap.

What is known

The model is called MiJia Automatic Foaming Hand Wash Pro. The new device differs from the previous version with a modified design. In addition the device is no longer powered by AA batteries, but by a built-in rechargeable 1400 mAh battery. According to the company, it will last up to 6 months of work. The battery is charged using the USB-C port.

The dispenser has IPX5 protection and holds 300ml of soap. You can also get auto-dosage of your favorite soaps with its auto-dosing function. Furthermore, you will get a 20-second audible signal after the soap has been dispensed. It reminds the user to wash their hands thoroughly.

Price and when to expect

MiJia Automatic Foaming Hand Wash Pro has already started selling in China. The price for the gadget is now $17. Then the gadget will cost $20.
