Qualcomm has announced the dates for its annual Snapdragon Tech Summit event, where it traditionally unveils its new flagship processors at .

When?

This year's Snapdragon Tech Summit will take place from November 30 to December 2. Unfortunately no details - just a poster with a boat and a caption that reads: "More to come, soon!" (More coming soon).

But if you add up the 2+2, the new Snapdragon 898 processor should be unveiled at the event. Usually Qualcomm shows the chips on first day, so it's likely that Snapdragon 898 will be announced on November 30. Otherwise  - no later than December 2.

It's safe to say with certainty that we will definitely see the top processor in flagships from manufacturers like Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Vivo, ORRO etc.

The Snapdragon 898 is expected to have a main core AMR processor Cortex-X2 with clocked at 3.0 GHz, and also three middle cores based  Cortex-A710 with clocked at 2.5 GHz and finally four efficient cores derived from Cortex-A510, with clocked at 1.79 GHz. The graphics processor is believed to be Adreno 730, which as a result of architectural improvements over  Adreno 660 and Samsung's 4-nanometer manufacturing process could result in up to 20% increase in performance. For connectivity, we expect an X65 5G modem with a theoretical maximum downlink speed of 10 Gbps.
