Cryptocurrency market capitalization exceeds $3 trillion for the first time in history
On November 8, amid another rise in the price of digital currencies Bitcoin and Ethereum, market capitalization exceeded the $3 trillion mark for the first time in history.
Just recently we wrote that Ethereum rate renewed its historical maximum. The new record is $4,795.66. The value of Bitcoin successfully stormed $66,000 during the day. It was when BTC traded within 1-2% of the record high and ETH rose to $4,777 for the first time in a day, its market capitalization rose to $3 trillion.
This morning, when the price of the world's main digital currency rose to $66,100, its capitalization was $1.25 trillion, which corresponds to the market capitalization of Tesla. BTC holds 40.4% of the market, while ETH accounts for 18.6%. Other digital currencies account for 41%.
