Samsung is worried about the future of the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone and may limit the sales geography of the future novelty exclusively to the European market.

What is known

The presentation of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was expected in 2021, but the shortage of components has imposed its imprint, due to which the premiere has been postponed several times. The company even considered canceling the flagship, but Samsung's head of mobile division insisted on the release.

According to the latest information, the smartphone will be announced on January 4, 2022 on day zero of the Consumer Electronics Showcase 2022. Sales will start a week after the debut. This was announced last week by insider John Prosser.

South Korean publication DDaily claims that the company's management still has big doubts about whether the upcoming novelty can replicate the success of the Galaxy S20 FE model, which was released last year and was an instant hit. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE could create unnecessary competition within the Galaxy S model range, as apart from the Samsung Galaxy S22 family models, the current generation flagships will remain on sale.

In this regard, the manufacturer has decided to limit the geography of sales. Thus, Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be available only to residents of Europe.
