HMD Global today unveiled a new Nokia-branded smartphone - Nokia X100 - in the U.S. market.

What's on offer

The novelty gets a large 6.67-inch FHD+ display with embedded 16-megapixel front camera and rather large "chin" with Nokia lettering. On the back panel sits the main camera, which is designed in the shape of a circle. It consists of four sensors of 48, 5, 2 and 2 MP, including the main sensor, "", macro lens and depth sensor.

The smartphone is based on a Snapdragon 480 processor with Adreno 619 graphics and Snapdragon X51 5G cellular modem for fifth generation networks. Despite modest specs, the device has enough memory  - 6 GB RAM and 128 GB built-in. A 4470 mAh battery with 18W charging support is responsible for battery life.

Also worth noting is the microSD card slot, 3.5 mm headphone jack and operating system Android 11 with subsequent updates.

How much?

Nokia X100 is priced at $250. Sales will start November 19, but so far only at U.S. mobile carriers.
