Xiaomi unveiled its first foldable Mi Mix Fold smartphone in March this year, and now it seems to be working on another new entry in the series, but with a different form factor.

What We Know

According to Chinese publication MyDrivers, Xiaomi is testing a foldable device with a design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Motorola RAZR 5G. That is, we are talking about a "clamshell" with a flexible screen.

No details about the new product. Rumor has it that the device will get OLED-display with higher refresh rate of the picture. The smartphone will run on a top-end Qualcomm or MediaTek processor. When the release of the device will take place is unknown. But we can assume that it will happen as early as 2022.

As for the price, the novelty will clearly cost less than its competitors. That is, up to $1,000.
