Samsung's budget smartphone gets RAM expansion feature
Samsung has released One UI 3.1 software update for the low-cost 2021 smartphone. The update brings support for the RAM Plus feature.
Who updated?
The update has been released for the Samsung Galaxy M32 5G powered by the Dimensity 720 processor. It is equipped with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and the internal storage capacity is 128GB regardless of the modification. The RAM Plus feature gives you the ability to add another 4GB of virtual RAM using the storage space.
The One UI 3.1 update also brings a security patch for this November. It addresses three critical vulnerabilities and 20 high-level vulnerabilities. The update is being sent out "over the air". The firmware is based on Android 11 operating system. The build number is M325FXXU3AUJ3.
Recall that the RAM expansion function was one of the last to be added by Samsung. It has long been used by owners of smartphones OPPO, Realme, ASUS, Vivo, Xiaomi and ZTE.
