Recently we wrote about that in India there was another case of OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone spontaneous combustion. Now the same story has been continued.

What happened?

The incident occurred on November 3, and a relative of the affected Nord 2 owner told about it on social media. According to him, the man was riding his bicycle, and the smartphone was in his pocket at the time. On this day the weather was cool, so why the gadget overheated - is unclear. But nevertheless, at some point the device exploded. The victim suffered severe second-degree burns and is now in hospital.

OnePlus quickly responded to what happened and stated:

"We take such incidents seriously. Our team has already contacted the user and we are gathering details for further investigation"

The company has taken the burned Nord 2 for examination and compensated the amount spent to purchase it. In addition, the victim confirmed that OnePlus has promised to pay the cost of medical treatment. Company representatives have been in constant contact with the user.
