The Fitbit Charge 5 smart bracelet has learned to measure ECG with a software update
Google has released a new system update for the Fitbit Charge 5 smart bracelet.
What is known
The firmware is out with build number 1.49.11. According to the official list of changes, an ECG app has been added to the device. That is, owners of Fitbit Charge 5 can now measure the electrocardiogram directly from your hand. To do this, you need to put your fingers on the metal part of the bracelet for 30 seconds. After that, detailed ECG results will be displayed in the app on your smartphone.
Google developers have also worked on the bugs and added to the system the daily readiness score. They are affected by the level of activity, sleep and heart rate. The high number of points means that the user is ready for intensive training, while the low number means that the body is tired. Using the new metric will only be possible with a Fitbit Premium subscription. By the way, such an innovation also received bracelets Fitbit Sense, Fitbit Versa 3, Fitbit Versa 2 and Fitbit Luxe.
