Rumor: Apple will introduce AirPods Pro 2 headphones in the third quarter of 2022

 Several reputable insiders, including Bloomberg's Mark Gurman and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (Ming-Chi Kuo), have previously confirmed that Apple will release its new 2nd generation AirPods Pro wireless headphones next year. But when exactly - they did not specify.

When?

Another insider @FronTron in June assured that AirPods Pro 2 will be shown in the second quarter of 2022. He has now revised his prediction and reported that the announcement will not be in the second quarter, but in the third quarter, that is between July 1 and September 30.

This insider assured that information comes directly from supply chain. However,  this leak is still worth taking with a grain of salt.

According to rumors, the new model may lose "legs", but this is not yet accurate. The second generation Apple AirPods Pro is also expected to include updated motion sensors with a focus on fitness tracking, and the MagSafe charging case will be moisture protected to the IPX4 standard.
