Insider: Xiaomi preparing for global market release smartphone with Snapdragon 870 chip and 67W charging

According to an Indian insider, Xiaomi is going to release in the near future on the global market a new smartphone with top specs.

What is known

According to the informant, the device will run a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. For those not in the know, it is an overclocked version of last year's flagship chip Snapdragon 865 Plus. The SoC has a high-performance Kryo 585 core (ARM Cortex-A77) with a maximum clock speed of 3.2GHz, an Adreno 650 graphics accelerator and 5G modem Snapdragon X55.

Other features of the device will include 67W fast charging as well as a pretty good camera setup. Which one the insider didn't reveal, but presumably it won't have useless 2-megapixel sensors. There is no exact release date for the smartphone yet.
