Motorola revealed Moto G Power (2022) with 50 MP camera and MediaTek Helio G37 chip
Motorola after weeks of rumors and leaks has announced its new budget smartphone Moto G Power (2022).
What is known
As you can understand from the name, this is the successor to the current model Moto G Power (2021). The smartphone has received a slightly updated appearance and slightly improved the filling. The device is equipped with a 6.5inch IPS LCD display with HD + resolution and increased refresh rate up to 90 Hz. Instead of the Snapdragon 662 chip, the smartphone now runs on the MediaTek Helio G37 SoC. The base modification of the device comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM. The top-end one has 128GB of storage. It can be expanded with a memory card if desired.
As for the cameras, there are four of them in the smartphone: a triple main with 50 MP sensors (f/1.8) + 2 MP + 2 MP and a single 8 MP front (f/2.0). The Moto G Power (2022) is powered by a 5000mAh battery. It charges with the help of a 10-watt packaged power supply. Unfortunately, the device still comes with an old version of Android 11 OS.
Price and when to expect
Sales of the Moto G Power (2022) will start in early 2022. They will ask $199/249 for the new product.
