Xiaomi 12X will receive Snapdragon 870, 50 MP camera and 120 Hz AMOLED screen

Xiaomi could introduce the Xiaomi 12X smartphone that year. Judging by the data leaked to the Web, this will be the same model that previously appeared as the mini version.

What is known

The device codename is psyche. The upcoming novelty has received a 7-nanometer single-chip system Snapdragon 870 with a peak frequency of 3.2 GHz. In the main camera of the smartphone, we will see a 50-megapixel image sensor. How many optical modules will be installed on the rear panel is unknown.

But it is known that the front of the Xiaomi 12X will have an AMOLED screen with a built-in fingerprint scanner, Full HD + resolution, support for 120 Hz and HDR10. The dimensions of the display (not the whole body) will be 145.4 x 65.4 mm. Using the Pythagorean theorem, you can calculate that the diagonal will be equal to 15.943 cm or approximately 6.277 ”. Earlier, when it came to Xiaomi 12 mini, a 6.28 ”panel was mentioned.

Note that in the range of Xiaomi there is a model Mi 11X on Snapdragon 870. Actually, you can see it in the image above. It is sold only in India and is the local analogue of the POCO F3, which in turn has become a European copy of the Chinese Redmi K40. Insider Kacper Skrzypek writes that the Xiaomi 12X will not be on sale in India.
