Recently the editorial office gg wrote that Xiaomi is preparing two gaming smartphones of the Redmi K50 family with MediaTek processors for the premiere. As it turned out, in the new generation of the line there will be four models at once with different single-chip systems.

What is known

According to preliminary information, Redmi K50 Gaming, aka POCO F4 GT in the future, will receive a 4-nm Dimensity 9000 chip, and the Gaming Standard Edition will be equipped with a Dimensity 7000 processor. The commercial names of two more models have not yet been specified. But it is known that they will be equipped with the 7nm SoC Snapdragon 870 and the flagship 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset.

It is logical to assume that the Snapdragon 870 will be used in the regular Redmi K50, while the Pro (or Pro +) version will receive the Snapdragon 8 Gen1. We saw this back in early 2021, when the Redmi K40, K40 Pro and K40 Pro + premiered. But it is possible that this time Xiaomi will again change its approach to naming.

The presentation of the new generation smartphones is expected in the first quarter of next year. They will boast 100-watt fast charging and a new AMOLED E5 display from South Korean Samsung.
