Fingerprint scanner MacBook Pro and iPad cheated using improvised means for only $ 5

It has long been known that fingerprint scanners - far from the safest way to identify a user. But specialists in cybersecurity from Kraken Security Labs decided to prove it again.

Easy and simply

For "hacking" have used a MacBook Pro laptop, iPad and a certain bitcoin wallet... For experiment not it took some special equipment - only improvised means. Fingerprint first with with the help of a photo editor, they were transferred to black and white option, after which the image was printed on acetate film on laser printer. A volumetric print is obtained.

Further in usual PVA glue is running: they cover the print with a thin layer, after which it is necessary to wait until it dry up. AND voila - you get an imprint, like a real one, which easily unlocks the gadget.

V Kraken Security Labs notes that the cost of consumables that are required to "operations" - total 5 dollars.
