Samsung developers in early November launched testing of One UI 4 shell with Android 12 on the flagships of 2020, and now they have released the second beta version of the system.

What is known

The update was released for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 +, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with Exynos and Snapdragon chips. The firmware has already begun to be distributed over the air to devices that participate in the test.

The December security patch was installed in the new version of the system. In addition, the developers have fixed many bugs in the software. For example, an issue with adaptive refresh rates, incorrect display of Quick Share icons, and more.

When to expect a stable release

The stable version of the firmware for smartphones should be released in late December or early January.
