MIUI 12.5 features can be added to older Xiaomi smartphones
Xiaomi has not updated all smartphones from MIUI 12 to MIUI 12.5. In addition, even the updated models with Android 10 were left without some of the functions that are available to devices on Android 11. The theminhaels enthusiast who created the Magisk module, which gives old smartphones access to the new functions of MIUI 12.5, was able to eliminate the injustice.
It includes animations, app icons, wallpapers, system sounds, an updated power menu style, and some additional features like noise cancellation during phone calls and overheating protection. In addition, the developer added optimizations for RAM usage and improved Wi-Fi performance.
After downloading the module, you need to drop it on your smartphone and install it using Magisk. For devices with custom firmware, there is a Custom + version. The MIUI + variant is focused on models with a stock MIUI shell.
