The iPhone 13 continues to break popularity records in China. They helped Apple to lead the Chinese smart phone market for the first time in six years, which grew a modest 2% in a year.

What is known

It is reported by the analytical agency Counterpoint Research. According to the company, in October this year, Apple occupied 22% of the Chinese smartphone market, increasing sales by almost one and a half times (+ 46%) compared to October 2020.

It should be noted that the share of BBK Electronics corporation amounted to over 40%, but the deliveries of all brands are indicated separately. Specifically, OPPO controls 18% and vivo controls 20%. But let's not forget about Realme and OnePlus.

8% of the Chinese market at the end of October was controlled by Huawei. In this regard, the absence of Xiaomi on the chart looks very strange. Moreover, Xiaomi is not even mentioned in the report on the official Counterpoint Research website.
