Huawei unveiled the MatePad Pro 12.6 in June, and now looks set to release a slightly improved version.

What is known

Images and specifications of the novelty appeared on the Internet. According to the leak, the device will differ from the original model by supporting an increased refresh rate up to 120 Hz. For comparison, in the current version of the tablet the panel is standard (at 60 Hz). In addition, the new version of MatePad Pro 12.6 should receive a different processor - Kirin 9000 instead of its simplified Kirin 9000E.

As for the other specifications, they will remain the same. That is, the tablet will have a 12.6-inch OLED screen with a 2560 × 1600p resolution, up to 512 GB of ROM, a 5G modem, a 10,000 mAh battery with an autonomy of up to 14 hours and support for fast charging, eight Harman Kardon speakers, and four microphones.

The release of the new version of the device should take place in the near future.
