Twin Mirror Launches On Steam

By the end of 2020, the studio DONTNOD Entertainment released a psychological thriller Twin mirror... On PC, it came out exclusively for the Epic Games Store. Exactly one year later, the game appeared on the Steam platform. 

The protagonist is former journalist Sam Higgs, whose investigation will forever replace his hometown:
Sam Higgs said goodbye to Buswood and everyone he knew two years ago. The death of his best friend brought Sam home again, and now he has to face Baswood's ugly past - and his own too. Soon Sam finds himself drawn into a whole web of dangerous secrets, for this West Virginia town is far from being as simple as it seems.

The protagonist comes to the aid of his double - the embodiment of his friendly and empathic side, invisible to others. Whether you make friends with him is up to you.

The key "feature" of the game is the palaces of the mind, where you can relive the events in which the main character once participated. There you will have to look for new leads to investigate, analyze possible scenarios, work out versions of what happened. 

The game was not well received by critics. Complaints were mainly about poorly developed characters and a leaky plot. But what you should pay attention to is a solid soundtrack, detailed environment and interesting mechanics of the palace of the mind.

The game received a 5.8 out of 10 rating from users and scored 65 out of 100 possible points from critics. on Metacritic...
