Xiaomi started updating two Redmi smartphones to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition - budget and gaming
Before at the end of this month Xiaomi should unveil its new proprietary firmware - MIUI 13.A while the company continues to update its smartphones to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition.
Who updated?
The distribution of the latest firmware has begun for two devices of the Redmi sub-brand. This is Redmi 9T and Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. The first one is on sale at international markets and second - exclusively for China. V the update is currently being extended to the following regional options with build numbers:
Redmi 9T
- Global - V12.5.4.0.RJQMIXM
- Turkey - V12.5.2.0.RJQTRXM
Redmi K40 Gaming Edition
- China - V12.5.12.0.RKJCNXM
The update is being released in batches, so as usual it may take a while.
By the way, Redmi 9T was originally released in China as Redmi Note 9 4G. This version has already received an update. V then same time variant sold in India as Redmi 9 Power, not yet got updates like other regional variants of Redmi 9T. WITH the other hand, Redmi K40 Gaming Edition is also called POCO F3 GT v India. The POCO device version should get an update in the coming days.
