Helio G70, up to 6GB RAM and Android 11 - Redmi 10 (2022) specs revealed

Rumors about the Redmi 10 (2022) smartphone have been circulating for more than a week. In anticipation of the announcement, the model was included in the Google Play Console database, where its main characteristics were published.

What is known

The upcoming novelty will not be an exact copy of Redmi 10. We will see at least one difference. It will affect the model of a single-chip system. If Redmi 10 is equipped with the new Helio G88 platform, then the 2022 version will receive an older and less powerful SoC Helio G70. Both chips are made using 12nm technology.

Helio G70 is a chipset for budget models. Redmi 10 (2022) will be the first Xiaomi smartphone with this SoC under the hood. System-on-a-chip from Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek is also used in Tecno, Infinix, Blackview and Realme solutions.

The Google Play Console database indicates that Redmi 10 (2022) will receive up to 6 GB of RAM, Full HD + display and Android 11. The OS will most likely be supplemented with MIUI 12.5 shell. The date of the announcement has not yet been specified.
