17-inch 300Hz screen, Intel Tiger Lake H chip and GeForce RTX 3080 graphics: LG unveils its first gaming laptop

LG has quietly announced its first UltraGear17G90Q gaming laptop.

What is known

The novelty has received a 17-inch IPS LCD-display with FHD resolution and a refresh rate of 300 Hz. The processor is responsible for the performance of the device 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake H and GeForce RTX 3080 graphics. The laptop comes with up to 32GB RAM and up to 1TB SSD. The new product also installed a 93 Wh battery, a 1080p webcam, an RGB-backlit keyboard and a fingerprint scanner built into the power button. The ports in the LG UltraGear17G90Q are HDMI, Ethernet, USB-A, USB-C, and a headphone jack in microSD.

Price and when to wait

The novelty will hit the market in early 2022. The price of the device will be announced at CES 2022, which kicks off in Las Vegas on January 4.
