Locations with residential areas of Pripyat were added to the Chernobylite horror

The authors of the horror game Chernobylite recently released an update called Ghost Down ("Ghost Town") on Steam. The update contains new locations that were taken from residential areas of abandoned Pripyat. Prior to the release of the new map, the developers also released a short trailer. 

Update content:

  • New map - abandoned residential areas of Pripyat. According to the developers, the location is a 3D scan of real buildings from Pripyat. Players will also be able to see the city's iconic sites, including the Blue Pool.
  • 3 side quests and 3 monster hunts.
  • A number of improvements, including adjusted lighting in some locations, corrected word errors and more.

Also on Steam appeared the original soundtrack "Deadly Frost Pack"and a set of paid skins for weapons.

In the future, the developers plan to release 4 more free add-ons, which will add story missions, new locations, "cosmetics" and weapons. The next DLC will be released in the first quarter of 2022. 

Chernobylite is available on PC, Playstation and Xbox platforms.
