Vivo S12 - Dimensity 1100, 90Hz display, dual selfie cameras and new software shell starting at $ 440

Together with the Vivo S12 Pro, Vivo has announced another model. The second novelty was left without the Pro prefix, received more modest technical characteristics, but it also costs a little less.

The Vivo S12 is equipped with a Dimensity 1100 chip. Like the Dimensity 1200, it supports 5G and has Mali-G77 MC9 graphics, but the peak frequency has been reduced from 3 GHz to 2.6 GHz. The battery capacity was 4200 mAh instead of 4300 mAh, but the novelty retained the 44-W charge.

The standard model also received a main camera with a resolution of 108 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP and an 8 MP front ultra-wide-angle module. The main module for selfies has an image sensor of 44 MP, not 50 MP.

Vivo S12 retains support for 90Hz and HDR10 +, but the screen size has decreased to 6.44 ”. Also, the second novelty does not support Wi-Fi 6. All other specifications have migrated from the Vivo S12 Pro.

Prices

The hero of the note will also be on sale in black, blue and yellow color versions starting December 30, 2021. The cost of Vivo S12 in modifications with 128 GB and 256 GB of internal memory was $ 440 and $ 470, respectively.
