The world's first SMS, sent in 1992, sold as NFT for € 132,680

On December 3, 1992, Vodafone CEO Richard Jarvis received a 15-character text message from engineer Neil Papworth of Sema Group Telecoms. It was the world's first SMS. After 29 years, it was sold for more than € 132,000.
Note that the message was sent from a personal computer to a phone. The ability to exchange SMS between phones appeared only in 1999.
At the Aguttes auction in France, the world's first SMS in the form of a non-fungible token was sold in the Ethereum cryptocurrency. The cost at the exchange rate at the time of the transaction was € 132,680. The auction house did not disclose the name of the buyer.
The seller is Vodafone. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the UN Refugee Agency.
