Official: Realme GT 2 Pro will receive an LTPO 2.0 screen with 3K resolution and a fingerprint scanner with pulse recognition

The flagship smartphone will be presented in early January 2022 Realme GT 2 Pro... A week before the announcement, the company published the technical specifications of the future novelty.

What is known

The manufacturer is calling the Realme GT 2 Pro its debut premium flagship smartphone. The upcoming model will be equipped with a second generation 3K LTPO display with a resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels.

An identical panel will be found in the OnePlus 10 Pro and Xiaomi 12 Pro. In the case of the Realme GT 2 Pro, the diagonal will be 6.7 ”, and the image refresh rate will be from 1 Hz to 120 Hz. The company says dynamically changing the refresh rate will extend battery life by 1.7 hours.

The flagship will get a new optical sensor for scanning fingerprints. A fingerprint sensor will be able to count the heart rate. We saw this feature back in the Xiaomi Mi 11.

When to expect?

Realme GT 2 Pro will present January 4, 2022... The published teaser contains the phrase World Debut, but the presentation will take place in China, and the global version will appear a little later. There is no information about prices yet.
