OnePlus recently announced to its users on the forum about the beginning of the rollout of the OxygenOS update for the 2020 flagships OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.

What changed?

Both smartphones should get the firmware with the OxygenOS model number 11.0.10.10, and in the global market as well.

So, the update optimizes the display of the user interface in the settings, fixes the error, due to which Google Assistant and Gpay were not showing properly in the setup wizard and fixes WhatsApp issues. Additionally, the December 2021 security patch has been added.

By the way, who is not in the know, OnePlus 8 smartphones, as well as some other devices, faced problems with the settings user interface, due to which icons and parameters have shifted. It's not a bug that breaks the system, but it's still frustrating. And although the company claims to have fixed this bug, some users write in the comments that it remains.

OnePlus emphasizes that the update is being rolled out in stages, so if the firmware is not yet available to you, be patient and wait.
