Europol and Spanish police, as part of the Bitdrop joint operation, were able to detain Vitor Manuel Batista Fajardo, Europe's largest and most wanted cryptoffer.

In early 2020, Fajardo founded DXR 3200 Investment Spain. The swindler offered investors to buy cryptocurrency through his own firm. The financial pyramid was advertised on websites, sporting events and on the radio, and the fraudster himself promised investors a profit of 2.5% per week.

Fajardo was arrested by the police on January 1, 2022. He was charged on seven counts, including fraud and money laundering. During a search in the garage of the Portuguese, 13 supercars were found, and the total value of all seized assets was more than € 2,500,000.
